This is the week betwen trips. Our entire family will be getting ready to go to Japan for two weeks! Please pray for good preparations and safe travel.
This week is also a spiritual formation week and I'll be meeting with a spiritual director to process some of my life. In addition, I'll take in a small painting project and enjoy a few rounds of golf.
"Come Away" is maintained by Pastor Jon Opgenorth to share insights during his Clergy Renewal Program. The aim of Jon's program is that be renewed in his calling as a child of God and a servant of Christ's church, infused with passion for the next chapter in his shared journey with Trinity Church, and refreshed in the things that make his heart sing. Activities will include connecting with the world church, learning from other congregations, and rest & renewal.

- Jon is the husband of Ann (4/8/1989) and father of Lauren, Nicole, Andrew, and Julie. A graduate of Northwestern Collge (B.A. Religion, 1988) and of Fuller Theological Seminary (M.Div., 1992), Jon and Ann served Fellowship Reformed Church in Muskegon, Michigan, from 1992 to 1999 and have been at Trinity Reformed in Orange City, Iowa, since 1999.
