The first experience in the renewal program will be to visit Uganda with Rev. David Bast of Words of Hope. Lauren, age 13, will accompany Jon and David. They will be part of a post-Easter evangelistic emphasis in the Mukono Diocese of the Anglican Church of Uganda. Mukono is located just a short drive northwest of the capital, Kampala. Mukono is not on this map. You can click the map to see a larger picture. The climax will be a "March for Jesus" on April 21. Jon will connect with the global church and encounter how Islam is beginning to impact life in the equatorial Africa, a traditionally strong Christian region.
